College Recruiting Program

Farm Credit's Career Development program is an ag-specific program that recruits college seniors for entry-level professional positions following graduation. We are interested in college graduates considering a career in business or agriculture and willing to relocate somewhere in the Northeast for their first job. Program participants can select from two career paths:

Credit representative
You will learn how to analyze the financial needs of borrowers and make sound lending decisions. While training in one of Farm Credit's Northeast associations, you will be eligible for placement in an entry-level position where you can work toward advanced positions in credit as a loan officer, senior loan officer or branch office manager.

Financial services representative
You will learn how to serve our customers' record-keeping, payroll and tax needs. Among advanced positions that may become available to you are: tax specialist, record-keeping specialist or financial services manager.
